Clearly, if the EPB is failing to hold the car, something is amiss and if it is still within the warranty period, you may get it fixed under the 7-year guarantee unless it's simply wear, in which case you need to pay a KIA dealer or an independent to fix it. Alternatively, fix it yourself if you are so inclined. Indalo.
CEE'D Gearbox. i have been driving my Cee'd since it was brand new december 2009, with only fairly minor faults with it. overall i have been impressed with the car with exception to the crunching between 1st and 2nd gears. i know this is a well documented fault with the Cee'd, but mine all of a sudden got a lot worse tonight. i left work and
Kia recommends only doing it if the trans is out for servicing. As far as the fluid changes- if you drain out 4 quarts, put 4 back in and drive for a few days, then repeat that twice more- you are not replacing all 12 quarts with fresh oil. The new oil mixes with the old, so you are "diluting" the fresh oil.

16 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Jul 21, 2013. I have a Ceed SW Estate 3 Automatic. At about 40,000 miles a problem suddenly occured with the automatic gearbox. It was as if the drive would not disengage causing a stall. Apparently the flywheel was the problem & it was replaced under warranty. So, few weeks ago first time in my life, I started to hear the voice "Cluck" from my automatic transmission.
